If you don't know me already, I'm Henry! I'm one of 80 NJ Governor's STEM Scholars, a 6 year
self taught game developer, ex-project manager and volunteer developer for Nickelodeon, and
a full time highschool student! I've worked on countless kinds of projects from Twitch API
bots to medieval MMORPGs, I've seen it all!
Do you have a passion for playing video games? Well then, why not make one? It can't be that
hard, right? It really isn't! I'm here to give you personal mentouring into game development,
access to professional hardware, the ability to publish REAL projects alone or with a team on
Steam, the Apple Store, or Google Play, and complete training whether you are brand new or
already have a bit of coding knowledge. Not to mention we will write you a pretty sweet
letter of recommendation from a "professional company" when you decide to move on to the next
chapter of your life. This wont just talk about your ability to code but your personal merit,
leadership skills, and most ideal traits. So yeah, I guess that's cool. 😎
I don't think I'm qualified. Maybe I'll come back and apply later?
Don't you worry! If you are really right for this opportunity we will pick you. Even if you don't
think you will get in we highly encourage anyone that is interested to apply and give it a shot!
We welcome all people and will strive to make you comfortable in our work space. And if you want a tip on getting in
from me to you, just don't be afraid to brag about yourself. We like to see what you have done. ;) We will only be
accepting ~10 people a year so don't waste time while applications are open. Keep in mind, previous
attendees will have higher chances of getting in the following year but some may leave, opening
space for the newbies!
